A League Of Their Own

Looking back to last year, the vivid memories crowd my mind. The very first night at Stoke saw Unicorn’s Phil Taylor more tense than I have ever seen him. The excited crowd of vocal Stokies had greater expectations of Phil than Dickens could have purple-prosed. We had to wait a week or two to see the real Phil. At Norwich in March he set out to whitewash Wayne Mardle 12-0, just to put the frighteners on the rest of the field. He won the match 11-1. In the semi against Roland Scholten Phil was 11-7 down but won 13-11.
