Australia’s Russell “Rusty” Stewart started the AGP 2006 Season with a solid win to see him on the top of the AGP Rankings. Then along came Simon “The Wizard” Whitlock displaying his mechanical powerhouse darts to go past Rusty to the top of the ladder and Rusty drop down a rung, with Unicorns own Barry “China” Jouannet being hot on Simons tail looking to end the race come October to try and secure a 3rd trip to Purfleet.
Last years AGP winning and second PDC wildcard Brian Roach has been going up and down the ladder by one place each month.
Now the big fella from the ACT Anthony “Fleety” Fleet who, has been runner-up in 3 rounds and been in numerous semis took Round 6 and stormed into the lead. With Simon, China, Rusty & Brian all waiting for the next round to see who can hang on the best in the roller coaster ride to the Oceanic Masters!
Who will win the Oceanic Masters, who will win the AGP “end of year placing” wildcard entry to Purfleet?
At the end of the roller coaster ride up and down the AGP rankings ladder for all the main competitors, who will be the 2 wildcards who will grace the stage for good old Australia on stage at Purfleet?
These players will be showing that they will be the best of the best to hang on during the great ride as we know the Australian Grand Prix!
