Taylor missed the double-header in Scotland, allowing ‘Jaws’ to open up a 24 point gap at the top of the world rankings. Lloyd reached the quarter-finals of both the Players Championship event and UK Open Scottish Regional, before losing to Adrian Lewis and Raymond Van Barneveld respectively.

The Team Unicorn stars resume their battle in Holland this weekend, with those two Players Championship tournaments taking place in Lisse.

Adrian Lewis was the big winner. His victory in Irvine on Saturday lifts him up to 7th in the current rankings and up to 6th in the PDC Order of Merit. Fellow Unicorn Contender James Wade is now 13th in the world – his highest ever showing in the rankings.
