TAYLOR RIPS INTO ONE DART AS LLOYD AND LEWIS STAY ALIVE! |
| 12 Апрель 2007 |
|
Poor Peter Manley was blown away by another Premier League ‘Power Surge’ in Cardiff but both Adrian Lewis and Colin Lloyd kept the darting faith!
Phil Taylor’s march towards a third consecutive Premier League title gained pace as he demolished Manley 8-1 to make it 39 unbeaten since the competition started back in February 2005. Lewis came from 1-4 down to beat Dennis Priestley and Lloyd produced his best performance of this year’s Premier League to send Roland Scholten to the bottom of the table. Lloyd is now 5th, followed by Lewis and Manley – all on eight points….but they all need to win their last three games and hope other results go their way to reach the semi-finals in Brighton at the end of May! Manley didn’t play badly against Taylor but it was the 13-times World Champion who adopted the ‘One Dart’ nickname….he hardly missed a double.BY STUART PYKE |
