TAYLOR TOPPLES BARNEY! |
| 03 Май 2007 |
|
It was another terrific head-to-head between the two best players in the world but Phil Taylor got the better of Raymond Van Barneveld in front of nearly 5,000 fans in Birmingham.
The eagerly awaited showdown didn’t disappoint but Taylor just had the edge – averaging 105 to Barneveld’s 98. The pair remain on course to clash again in the Premier League Final on May 28 if they can get past Dennis Priestley and Terry Jenkins. The Story of Taylor/Barney Part VIII 1st leg: Pulsating start by both players, Barney just misses double 19 for a 155 finish and Taylor takes it with double 16….1-0 2nd leg: Great stuff again…two 180s from Taylor, who misses two darts for an 11-darter, Barneveld misses double 20 and Taylor steps in to break the throw….2-0 3rd leg: It gets better! |
